Horror Concept Photoshoot In The Woods
Some of the most powerful horror concept photoshoots doesn’t come from monsters or gore. It comes from real human experience, the kind that shapes who you are as a person.
When my client came to me, she told me her story. She had moved to a new country at 23, leaving behind everything familiar, and trusted me to translate that experience into images. That kind of trust is something I never take lightly.

Lia travelled a couple of hours to work with me, and we chose a woodland near Bath to build several concepts around her journey.
They explored the feeling of being bound by rules, by expectation, by the invisible weight of starting over somewhere that doesn’t yet feel like home. Some concepts sat in that bittersweet space between freedom and loss, the strange grief of choosing a new life while still mourning the old one, which is something I could really relate to having done something similar when I was the same age.

A horror concept photoshoot gives those feelings somewhere to live. The dark aesthetic, the atmosphere of the woodland, the raw and honest collaboration between myself and the client, all of it creates something that a conventional portrait session simply cannot.

Not every horror photoshoot needs a fictional concept. Sometimes the most haunting images come from someone brave enough to share their real story.

If you want to turn your story into a dark, gothic or horror photo collection, then book one of my gothic horror empowerment photoshoots today!
